CATT TRIPOLI

With a Ms. International title, NPC USA Championship, and the cover of Health & Fitness magazine under her belt, you might think that Catt Tripoli trains only hardcore fitness enthusiasts, but she is equally enthusiastic about working with clients new to personal training and keeps everyone on track with her infectious optimism and unfailing good cheer. A fixture on the North Bay fitness scene for the past two decades, Catt has founded or co-founded some of Sonoma County’s most popular health clubs including Fusion Fitness and Body Central. With the new incarnation of 5th Street Fitness, she finally has a place to call all her own. Whether your fitness goals are short or long-term, Catt will develop a program specifically tailored to your needs and make your training sessions equally fun and challenging.

NEIL SANDLAND
Neil worked in the UK as a personal trainer and exercise referral specialist for fifteen years before relocating to California last year. He gained his Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition & physiology from Liverpool University and is a member of the register of exercise professionals, advanced instructor level 3 (UK), as well as a member of ACE (US). Other professional certifications include: Master Diploma Sports Therapy, Wright Foundation G.P Referral Certificate, YMCA Advanced Personal Trainers Certificate, YMCA Advanced Fitness Instructors Certificate, YMCA Advanced Aerobic Training, YMCA Advanced Weight Training, APEX Certified Personal Trainer, and of course, a CPR certificate!
Neil’s passion for helping others meet their goals, and his positive and motivating personality make him a highly sought after personal trainer. He has worked closely with both semi-professional and professional athletes in the UK. He spends countless hours studying up on the latest research in fitness and nutrition to give his clients the most up to date scientific information. He is currently studying towards the CHEK Institute Exercise Coach certification. Neil’s approach emphasizes assessments, followed by personalized programs to ensure success at all levels.

SHELLIE SCHULZE

Fitness comes in all shapes and sizes, as personal trainer Shellie Schulze can attest through her own inspiring story. Her days were filled with couch sitting, TV watching and refrigerator emptying till she realized that she had to make changes. The last thing she wanted to do was join a gym and hire a trainer! But she did, ultimately becoming a trainer herself. To Shellie, the most important thing is that clients improve their fitness level--not fit into a size 4. But, make no mistake: her workouts are tough enough for even the most hardcore fitness enthusiast! Shellie loves helping people feel better and get stronger, and has helped many clients alleviate back pain while developing her Fitness PLUS program for clients with 40+ pounds to lose.

Chuck has been training for over 30 years and has been with 5th Street Fitness since we first opened in 1992 (talk about “old school!”). Over the years, Chuck has gotten hundreds of clients in great shape, including his wife Linda, whom he helped take 1st place in the Ms. America bodybuilding competition! And as an added bonus, when you train with Chuck, you get his unique brand of humor to get you through the really tough sets. Chuck has worked with everyone from teens to moms to seniors to achieve amazing results including fat loss and gain of lean muscle mass, but believes the most important result is simply a healthy lifestyle!
